Elder Nicholas Kindle, Youth Minister has worked to bring youth and community together and developed our Family Amusement Day (FAD). The purpose of this event is to impact the community with wholesome fun activities, food and back to school supplies while also providing needful information and resources to enhance the lives of individuals and families.

We have been blessed to bring this day of activities to the community at no cost to the participants. Some of the activities includes food and beverages, bounce houses, obstacle course, laser tag, dunk tanks, face painting as well as a rock climbing wall supplied and manned by the U.S. Army.

Other components of the event have been health screenings, employment opportunities as well as recruiters from several area colleges. In addition we partnered with an organization that provided information about gun safety and supplied free gun locks. This day of community and youth interaction has been well attended by the community and we have received a wealth of positive feedback from attendees and neighbors of the Fox Park Neighborhood.
